The Law Office of Ghenya B. Grant, Esq. is managed by founder and partner, Ghenya B. Grant, Esq. Ms. Grant is a graduate of The New York Law School, which she attended in the evening while working as a Probation Officer with the New York City Probation Department.
Upon graduation, she worked as an associate with Pesante and Associates, an entertainment and litigation firm, where she worked on high profile entertainment litigation, employment discrimination, and music publishing matters. in 2001, building on her blended experience of transactional work and litigation, Ms Grant started her own practice, initially representing clients in a multitude of Real Estate transactions, Labor-related administrative hearings, and arbitrations, while developing an entertainment practice consisting of book publishing, film and tv production, and music.
As an entertainment attorney Ms. Grant represented emerging artists public figures, and sports clients, counseling them on contract and intellectual property matters. Ms. Grant is a member of various professional associations and is admitted to practice in the State and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
